📄 Chart of Accounts
The organized list of all financial accounts used to track the clinic's money
💡 What is this page?
This is the Chart of Accounts — it's the backbone of your clinic's accounting system. Think of it as a filing system for all your money. Every financial transaction (expense, invoice payment, salary, etc.) gets recorded under one of these account codes.
What the clinic owns: Cash, bank accounts, equipment, receivables
What the clinic owes: Loans, payables, accrued expenses
Money going out: Salaries, rent, utilities, supplies
Money coming in: Patient fees, consultations, lab services
💡 How to use: When you add an expense, you pick a category — that category maps to one of these account codes. The codes are used automatically behind the scenes for financial reports. Click on any account to expand its sub-accounts.
